First day of Autumn and 'Saving Rayne'

It's finally the first day of Autumn, and it's been raining since yesterday. It's a different kind of rain, though - it's not that disgusting muggy feeling floating in the air. It's much cooler and I actually had to wear long pants and a blazer to work today. I'm sitting at my desk, quite comfortable with the temperature in the air, floating around me. I feel refreshed, even after waking up in the night, again, and I'm ready to tackle the day.

I'm not sure if I've spoken about this story before or not, but I thought I might as well share it, because it's a story I'm really working on at the moment. I sort of jump between the motivation to write either modern (which this story is) or the more old-fashioned stuff like Mooreton House and Forgotten.

So here is what I typed up on Wattpad about Saving Rayne:

This is a story I've been wanting to write for a while, and I'm really quite excited about it. It will contain mature themes, so if that's not your thing, please don't read it. Synopsis: Millie and Rayne are sisters...best friends. When a heated argument is followed by a tragic accident, Rayne is left in a coma and Millie tries to deal with the guilt of what was said. Millie's world is turned upside down by sex, alcohol and a little trouble, all while trying to make things right with a sister who may never wake up. Will she be able to help herself and will there be a chance for reconciliation?

There is a small feature about this story in my Books tab (linked), where I originally had her name written as 'Milly' but I've now changed it to Millie, because Word had a bit of a tantrum about the spelling.

I've just posted the second chapter of this story, and it's taken me a while to write. I really want to get it right this time, so that if I can get it published, it won't be a complete fail. And I would really like to receive some good reviews that I can finally post on here.

I won't share the link on here, yet, but keep an eye out for it in a future post. It's still early on in the story, so I would rather have people read all of it at once, instead of only finding two chapters. Once I've finished the story, I'll go through and edit it to make sure everything is in order, and then I'll share it with you lovely people on here!
