Next up, Autumn

Summer has been incredible. I absolutely love wearing shorts and tshirts and dresses, but I'm ready for some colder weather now!

Winter is my absolute favorite season, but Autumn does come pretty close. The stores have already started bringing out autumn fashion and I am in love.

I recently made an exciting purchase with some money that I got for my birthday from a friend. MAC lipstick was recommended to me by my sister, because I am always needing to reapply my lipstick at work. So I took the plunge (a $40 plunge) and bought a beautiful matte lipstick called Velvet Teddy. It's such a pretty neutral color that looks great with any color I wear. And it stays on all day! I work from 9am-3pm and when I get home there is still a good layer on my lips. And when I finally take my make up off, heaps of lipstick comes off on my makeup wipes.

It's such a good brand and I'm so excited to continue wearing it through Autumn and winter. I think it will look really great because it's a soft color.

And I've also been bought another MAC lipstick by my parents, while they were in Australia. I am very excited to share them on here, once my parents are back in the country!

Autumn is that awesome season where you can still wear your favorite t-shirt but pop a little cardigan over top, and I love cardigans and soft woolies. The Autumn colors are so amazing. It's so stunning watching the leaves pool at the base of trees, creating a blanket of rich golds, oranges, yellows and browns across the lawn.

It's such a poetic season.
