Quote Share: Emery Allen

Introducing a new blog tab to this website was very exciting for me - and it was especially cool to see that Wix.com had added this feature! I thought it would be a neat way to link everything together, so you can read about me, read about my books and then get the extra crispy bits at the bottom of the roasting tray by reading my blog.

I want this blog to not only be about my writing, but also about my other hobbies, like knitting and sharing recipes or cute ideas off Pinterest! Look out for adorable Christmas-sy posts in the next few weeks leading up to Christmas!

I will be posting every day (7 posts) - one of those postings will be like this one where I blab on randomly for a few lines and then share a quote that inspires me; like the one below.

There's a lot of wonderful time to be spent discovering yourself without hoping someone will fall in love with you along the way, and it doesn't need to be painful of emtpy. You need to fill yourself up with love. Not anyone else. Become a whole being on your own. Go on adventures, fall asleep in the woods with friends, wander around the city at night, sit in the coffee shop on your own, write on bathroom stalls, leave notes in library books, dress up for yourself, give to others, smile a lot. Do all things with love, but don't romaticize life like you can't survive without it. Live for yourself and be happy on your own. It isn't any less beautiful, I promise."
