Isn't it the strangest thing how we go out and buy nice wrapping paper, spend a good amount of time making sure the present is wrapped nicely, and then it less than 10 seconds it's lying in a torn-up heap in the middle of the lounge floor while the recipient marvels over their just-opened gift?!
Yes, such may be the case. People tear open the present, leaving your hardwork in pieces, but a well-wrapped gift always looks so charming under the Christmas tree.
