Christmas Photos: With Santa or just family

Every year our family pulls out the camera or our phones, to snap some shots of the food, the table, the decorations, opening presents. But we also like to take a family photo.
It's so interesting to see how much we all changed since last Christmas. Different hairstyles, getting taller, older (mature), etc. It's such great fun!
One year we did a theme of dressing in almost the same colors.
Do you take family photos at Christmas? Are they themed? Or does everyone just squeeze onto the couch or into the lounge? Do you send out Christmas cards with a family photo on it?
